Allstate will not make good on the 1200.00 dollars. I ran the complaint through the Oregon Insurance Complaints and the BBB.

I am looking at some help to see if we can get it. Its still in the works and I will keep things updated.

The representative handling our claim did nothing to help. We were told originally not to pay for the car rental and that we shouldn't have to and give her the information and she would set up payment directly from Allstate.

My wife left the details in a voicemail with her. When we went to pay for the first round we found nothing had been set up so we paid it...we have to. My wife asked her about Avis not having anything from her for payment she says well just save your receipts and you will get reimbursed. I faxed the first two payment periods to her through October 21st and she says oh we cant pay that far I would have thought the car would be done on October 5th.

Ok so I asked her have you contacted the body shop or the adjuster and do you know that there was additional damage ? I also asked her if she was aware that the body shop didn't even start on the car until the 5th of October? She says no but I will have my assistant call and I will get ahold of you Wednesday. I talked to her on Monday.

Wednesday comes and goes and no call. I believe now there was never going to be a call. She knew less about the status of our vehicle than we did and she is supposed to be our representative? I feel we weren't informed well of the car rental policy and had she followed through what she said we may have found out that the rental car wasn't covered the full length of time.

I guess if you cant afford the rental payments you don't pay the rental company or you return the car early and walk to work. I guess the Allstate representative is trained to rip people off or you are wasting your money paying her.

I have nothing good to say about Allstate or your fine print policies. We have never been in a accident like this so we are very uninformed of how all of it works.

Our car was rear ended by an Allstate insured and was in the shop for 8 weeks. Allstate says the body shop took too long and they paid what their formula says it should pay.

Its 1200.00 short and I'm still wondering how all of this is my issue. I am the one at loss here because Allstate didn't keep their word of being fully responsible of the accident. It must be fully responsible of what they choose. The representative in Salem who handled our claim was horrible.

I ran this through the Oregon insurance commission and just got more about how Allstate isn't responsible for any more refund and that there isn't any law that says they should be.

If my vehicle is out of commission because an Allstate insured caused damage to it Allstate should pay for me to have another car until I get my car back. Allstate and the body shop can work out the details but I shouldn't be out any money.

Reason of review: poor customer service and not considering zero loss on my end when their insured caused the problem..

Monetary Loss: $1200.
